There are always pros and cons about living anywhere.... :-) Have a blessed week!Charlottehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12695782474265436464noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4735033128474491176.post-65129568346635290962012-09-18T11:02:57.918-07:002012-09-18T11:02:57.918-07:00Aaaaah, okay, that totally makes more sense! Yeah, I can't just pop home between stops. ;) For the foreseeable future, I don't see having space issues myself... but you know, trying to cram a whole month's worth of food and supplies, plus your four kiddos, into the vehicle while still being able to see out the windows... yep, it had me wondering. ;) Now I know the answer! It doesn't necessarily give me ideas for my own errand running longterm (should space ever prove itself an issue, by some grace), except that perhaps I would never move from twice monthly shopping to once monthly. hehe.
And yeah, not only is shopping a good training ground, my boys happen to love it! So I can't imagine not taking them, because it's one of the highlights of a trip to town for them. I see the grocery store as serious training grounds. :-) Thankfully we live within a few miles of all the stores I visit, so usually I do it this way: Wal-Mart and Trader Joes, then home to drop off purchases. Then to Costco, which fills the trunk and floor, then home. Then finally to Winco and home again. We do have a mini-van which has a deep trunk area, and I also fill up the aisles and floor space in the car. If we lived out of town I am not sure how I would do it....hope this answers your question!Charlottehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12695782474265436464noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4735033128474491176.post-41943099700295776862012-09-17T10:12:56.675-07:002012-09-17T10:12:56.675-07:00So Charlotte, something I need to know: when you o...So Charlotte, something I need to know: when you only go shopping once a month, do you bring the kids with you? And if so, how do you fit all the groceries and such in the car with all the passengers? That's something I am still trying to figure out. ;) We did just get a larger car, so that is helpful. But I shop once every week or two and still manage to fill up the "trunk" space with stuff. If I only went once a month, I don't know how I'd fit any passengers in there along with the stuff.
What's your trick? :)Melissa Joyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12487515735262185690noreply@blogger.com
