Pumpkin Farm Fun

This last weekend we decided to head to a nearby pumpkin farm. For being a small farm they had a lot...many different kinds of pumpkins (of course), farm animals, horse rides, hay rides, and a corn maze. The owner of the pony rides and petting zoo is a good friend of ours so we had a good time visiting with her and riding the ponies!

They kids also had a fun time with the animals. I just loved the fleece on this sheep.

Then we went over to the corn maze. It was a small corn field that had a couple easy paths through it where the corn had been removed, but our kids have never been to one of those huge corn mazes so they didn't know the difference. There they go!

Here is Nutsy trying to keep up.

They had some pigs there that were hilarious; we would throw corn cobs over to them and then they would squeal and have a fit if one didn't get any. Then there was this massive cow that we fed some corn.

She was huge! Her back was as tall as me. They had all sorts of pumpkins, Indian corn, gourds and Fall wreaths.

We went in the morning because it just isn't right to go to a pumpkin farm when it is hot and it was going to be 85 degrees that afternoon. Here is our group of kiddos with a couple friends that came with us.
