It was a very good time to just focus on our family, especially since we were all together for the ten days of Christmas.
Here is what we were up too.....
We started our vacation with a very special Airman coming home.
It was great to have him in our home again!
The next morning Bookworm made this amazing breakfast.
Christmas Eve we tried something new...... Prime Rib. It turned out great and was so yummy.
Christmas Day we went to church and then to a friends home that evening for fun games.
We took a quick trip to the Bay Area to see both sides of the family. My side was first and we were surprised with a visit from my uncle!
We had a great afternoon with the grandparents.
Next stop was the other side.
Obachan and Auntie L made us some amazing food.
We were missing a whole family and another cousin, but here are the grand kids that were there (and a great-grandchild on the way!) with Obachan.
Later that evening we went up to The City and hit Fisherman's Wharf.
Seems like we do the same things here each year, but we are building memories and the kids love what we do. This year we did mix it up a bit and drove down Lombard Street at around 10pm.
Later that week we saw Rogue One.
We also made tempura one night. It's labor intensive, but oh so good.
New Year's Eve weekend we headed to our friend's home.
The Saran Wrap Game.
And Cioppino. Amazing Stuff.
Such dear friends.
Our last night as a family of six we stayed up late playing games. I really love these special moments with our family and cherish them.
And the last day, we said goodbye to a certain person.
But Lord willing he will be home in a few weeks.
And that, in a nutshell, was our Ten Days of Christmas.
